You must be in the Southern Hemisphere. I'm quite jealous; here in the U.S. it's now winter. It's even colder in the part of the U.S. where I'm now visiting my parents for the holidays. At least I'll get to return to a somewhat warmer part of the U.S. next week (though still nowhere as warm as it is where you are, I'd imagine!)
Much of the U.S. was *very* cold; in certain areas, it got colder than it was in the Arctic! I'm in the southeastern part of the country, and it was much colder than normal here for a couple of days, but nowhere near as bad in the northern parts of the U.S. Fortunately the winters where I live are somewhat mild, and it's rare for us to get much snow.
