You might as well wonder and with good reason what Sirius was doing while Amanda grieved his rash decisions and his lies: as well as Mandy, he was lamenting the loss, thoroughly depressed just as James (I mean, Regulus) had said he was.
It seemed that the only thing to look forward to now would be Sunday lunch at the Potter's, which had always been the highlight of the week after all, what could Sirius do but drool in his boredom and depression, stuck in a small flat miles away from James and the others?

Sirius Black is the most bubble-headed of prats. Yes, he IS hot, but I can bet you a galleon that everything inside him is rotten especially his brain. He is not the King of Divine either. King of Dorks, more like. I can also tell you that I've seen what he does to women: one dose of "Black's charm", and they fall at his feet. It mystifies me, how he makes so many girls fall for him at once, when he's really just an overgrown baby.
I have fought against the Black menace for five years, and still get no result. But one day, Hogwarts will wake up to find the real Sirius Black. Actually, I hope that happens soon. I hate Black.

It began and ended with a word.
Not a particularly strong or powerful word, but a word that changed everything. It wasn't too long or difficult to spell. It wasn't uncommon either. In fact, it was a perfectly ordinary word, but, I suppose, its commonplace origin is what made it so special.
I loved that word.
But the word doesn't mean much without the story along with it and I was always one for telling good stories.
