| So um, I can't promise anything for sure yet, but I'd also like to fill you in on a little project I've been thinking over. And yes, of course it has something to do with Sirius and Mands! Therefore, I present you with the sliver of an idea that came to me during the holidays: FLATSCREEN PENSIEVE. It's something I've been thinking over, since many of you have grown fond of the story of Sirius and Amanda. And you can't even imagine how frustrating it is to have this story put together quite neatly in my head, and to have to link you to that horrid fiction I wrote when I was fourteen when you ask for more background on it! Mostly, I feel like I'm being really unfair to Mands - she's certainly not the guitar-playing sue she started out as, nowadays. Of course, you know, that I don't have much time, so the idea of a long, thorough fiction (a la Life and Times) is not an option. This way I came up with the Flatscreen Pensieve concept. To make it simple, I will be submitting pieces of the story every once in a while, chronologically, here on DeviantArt. Not a thorough recount of their day-to-day, just the most relevant bits and pieces of how Sirius and Amanda came to be (and I'll throw in some Jily too, obviously) - it will still be an Alternate Universe thing, but I will try to make it as canon as possible, which most of you know is the way I like to do things. That's basically it. A kind of...scrapbook of a fanfiction, with a touch of webcomic - each piece will come with an illustration, of course. I'll be needing your opinion of course, guys! This is, after all, something for you as much as it is something for me. What do you think? Are you excited? 'Cause I kinda am  |
